- 1 Texas Ruby Red grapefruit
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh marjoram
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 4 cups assorted lettuce (Bibb, arugula, watercress), torn into pieces
- 1 pound smoked turkey, cut into thin slices
- 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
- toasted pine nuts

- Peel and segment grapefruit. Set aside.

- Mix vinegar, basil, marjoram, salt and pepper in small bowl. Whisk in
- oil in thin stream. Toss greens in large bowl with some of the dressing.
- Arrange grapefruit, chicken and avocado on lettuce. Drizzle lightly
- with more dressing; sprinkle with pine nuts.
